Hanoi Expo 2006 is essentially important when Vietnam is going to enter WTO’s door and Hanoi is welcoming PAEC 2006. The Hanoi Expo 2006 will take place from 6th to 11th October 2006 at Vietnam’s Exhibition Fairs Center. This is an annual event on occasion of Hanoi’s Liberty Day 10th of October. Nguyen Manh Hung, Director of Hanoi Commerce Service said that the Fair will introduce and praise cultural, social economic achievements, trading activities and big investment projects of Hanoi and regions in the country to promote investment, commerce and tourism. Hanoi Expo 2006 becomes more meaningful when APEC 2006 is coming soon. There are 9 displaying areas in the fair including a showroom of economic achievements in the Doi moi period and an area for key industrial products mainly handicrafts.Notably, there are over 20 kiosks of international trading promotion organizations enabling domestic enterprises to get closer access to their investment projects. Besides, during Hanoi Expo 2006, an electronic real estate fair will cover an area of 300 m2 , displaying housing, lodging models and underway projects like West Tay Ho to visitors. Apart from major participants like Hanoi Investment and Construction Corporation, Vinaconex and Song Da, the real estate zone will also receive financial organizers of such field as banking, financial companies or interior and designing units. The real estate zone aims to activate Hanoi’s real estate market and enhance investors to directly do business with each other. In this 7thtime, 200 enterprises have registered to Hanoi Expo 2006 with over 300 kiosks of different associations like VINATEX,Software or Young Entrepreneur and international organizations from South Korea, China and Laos.
